Doug Lyons

Doug is an award-winning editor and motion graphics designer with over 30 years experience in broadcast and film in the U.S. and Europe.
His career has taken him from the newsroom of WPIX-11 in New York, to sharing a daytime Emmy as editor of Disney’s “Bill Nye – the Science Guy”, to fascinating viewers as a visual effects designer for film and television. PBS and the Gates Foundation have repeatedly called for his story telling skills.
Doug holds a B.S. in Broadcast Communication with concentrations in Anthropology and Journalism from University of Central Florida. He spends his weekends updating his century-old home with his gardener wife and comic artist son.
